Mahindra electric finally venturing into the new age EV business with upcoming two electric origin SUVs named as XEV 9e and BE 6e. Both models will make their international debut on 26 November under two new sub-brands, XEV 9e and BE 6e.

Now talking about segment and placement, the BE 6e will be positioned above the XUV400 and will compete against the Tata Curve, MG ZS EV, and even the MG Windsor EV. Meanwhile, the XEV 9e will have a rival in the form of the upcoming Tata Harrier EV.
Xev 9e price in India
The Price of Xev 9e in India will 50 to 52 lakhs estimated (ex-showroom).
XEV 9e Features
- The Mahindra XEV e9 will be underpinned by the carmakers INGLO platform.
- The battery capacity is said to be in the range of 60-80kW, which will give the range up to 500 km.
- The power output likely to stand between 170-290kWh
- FWD will be primary but expect at least one variant with dual motors and AWD.
- All versions are expected to get dual digital screens, while the top-spec models will get a three-piece display on the dashboard.
- Level 2 ADAS will be common across all variants.
- All variants will get OTA updates for the connected car system.
- The complete XUV.e9 range will get six airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, and ISOFIX child seat mounting points as standard.
